HANS J. WEGNER /  Danish Furniture Designer & Cabinet-Maker  (1914-2007)

Hans J. Wegner -and one of the principals of 'Danish Modern'. He is one of the Danish designers who has achieved world fame. Wegner is a meticulous and admired craftsman and his furniture is a combination of good, solid details rooted in the tradition of the craftsmanship he highly regards. 

Kaare Klint / Danish Architect and Furniture Designer ( 1888 –  1954)

Kaare Klint is known as the father ofmodern Danish furniture design. Style was epitomized by clean, pure lines, use of the best materials of his time and superb craftsmanship.

Nanna Ditzel   /  Danish Furniture Designer  (1923 -  2005)

Popularly known as the "First Lady of Danish Furniture Design". She studied at the Danish School of Arts and Crafts and the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen with painter Victor Isbrand, Orla Molgaard-Nielsen, Peter Hvidt and Kaare Klint graduating in 1946. Her works include cabinet-making, jewellery, tableware and textiles.
