Stunningly beautiful high back easy chair model 501a designed in 1967 by Hans Wegner and manufactured by Getama, Denmark. This super elegant chair is a fantastic example of Hans Wegner's design prowess and the master craftmanship tradition of one of Denmark's leading manufacturers. Getama was established more than a century ago and unlike many of it's competitors it is still manufacturing all its furniture in Denmark. The frame is made of laminated oak stained black upholstered in aniline top grain leather filled with foam in the seat and down in the top. While unblemished, this chair is a floor model and, therefore, offered at a significant discount.
